starting up - paperwork 2009/01/12 22:27
hello all,

I see - it's early days on this forum, but that's kind of fitting as I'm just about to start out freelancing.

I have completed a project for a client over the past few months - and was wondering what paperwork i need in order to pay taxes on the money I earnt from this job.

If anyone could tell me what paperwork I need to work properly as a 'freelancer' could you let me know. I have scrawled some government sites but am unsure exactly what I'm classed as employment wise - I'm a freelance graphic designer starting out.

I would like to get things sorted ASAP so that I can approach some new potential clients.

Thanks in advance for your advice!
